How it all started

The Charles Osei Adomako Foundation (COAF Foundation) was formed on 8th March, 2016 in the Ahafo-Ano South District in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. My name is Charles Osei, the Founder and also the Executive Director for the COAF Foundation. Aside, I am a Circuit Supervisor, District Coordinator for Science, Technology, Mathematics, and Innovation Education (STMIE) and also the District Partnership Coordinator for the Ahafo-Ano South District Schools, Ghana Education Service.

I have a passion for the people living with various disabilities such as Physical Disabilities, Visual Disabilities, Hearing Disabilities, Mental Health Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, and Learning Disabilities. I have facilitated the successful surgery for a school girl with withered arm and elbow constrastures. After the surgery, I also facilitated her admission to school and she is now enjoying the equal access to education.

To promote and provide opportunities for vulnerable and disadvantaged groups in society.

To be a leading Foundation that promotes self-determination, independence, productivity, integration and inclusion in all facets of community life to vulnerable and disadvantaged persons.

OBJECTIVES

To sensitize and create awareness on the need for parental involvement and understanding of Special Education Programme.

To promote welfare of orphans, vulnerable and neglected children.

To help brilliant but needy children to have education.

To encourage children to help themselves by acquiring skills.

Our Top Priority

The children in the orphanages and children’s homes that we support come from difficult backgrounds and they benefit from your encouragement as well as your financial support. We put a strong emphasis on education and successful outcomes because this will uplift not only the child you will come to know and love, but society as a whole
